My name is Ana Filipa Piedade and I am a Portuguese ancestral skills practitioner and teacher with a deep love for prehistory and the land I call home.
I have always had a deep connection with Nature which consistently shaped my life choices, leading me to study conservation biology as well as explore permaculture and other sustainable ways of living. However, it was in 2015 that my life changed irreversibly after reading a couple of books that profoundly shifted the way I perceived the world by unpeeling civilization’s mythology layer by layer.
This caused me to enter into a state of deep grief, despair and uncertainty, and in the process of making sense of all I was feeling, I found Lynx Vilden, teacher of ancestral skills. I booked my place in one of her courses and the experience was life-changing, opening a portal that allowed me to see our ancient ancestors with brand new eyes.
From that moment on, my love for these skills only grew stronger. Being introduced to animism and rewilding further expanded my understanding of the importance of human beings living life in reciprocity with the land and in service to the ecological community. The hope of a better future for the next generations is what moves me to keep going and sharing these skills with others.
